End Poverty Now at: Queen's University

Started in August 2012 by an ex-McGill chapter head who moved to Queens for grad school, our Queens chapter is today driven by a core group of 15+ grad students and is going strong. Our team has already done some great, creative fundraisers for EPN’s Grassroots Projects, including Pie Your Professors & Your Friends, and delicious Examagrams.

Making sure we provide ways for Queens students to help those living in poverty here in Kingston, we also host food and clothing drives for local food banks and charitable resale stores. Furthermore, we’re planning to hold documentary screenings and to host speakers working in international development in order to increase awareness regarding contemporary poverty-related issues.

We always welcome newcomers who want to help or who just want to learn more about poverty alleviation. Email us at [email protected] to join us or learn more!
