Submit a Proposal
Every year, 70% of our annual budget goes towards our joint ventures with other international grassroots institutions. If you are interested in starting a project with us, please submit a project proposal, which we accept throughout the year. We look forward to receiving your submissions and potentially working with you.
NOTE: UNFORTUNATELY, WE ARE CURRENTLY UNABLE TO TAKE ON NEW PROJECTS. WE APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE AND HOPE THAT YOU WILL CHECK BACK WITH US IN THE NEAR FUTURE. (MAY 2012)
THE PROCESS
Wondering how the selection works? Our joint ventures become established via the following process:
- Project propsal is submitted (by you) and received (by us).
- Project proposal is reviewed by the Grassroots Projects Committee, a team that thoroughly assesses the risks, impacts, sustainability, and efficiency of projects.
- A short "Question & Answer" dialogue via phone/email takes place, where questions and suggestions are prepared by the committee.
- Once the project proposal is approved by our committee, it is presented to the Board of Directors, who votes on it for final approval.
- Additionally, every proposal is passed through our Board of Advisors, a group of professionals and scholars who will be able to provide further valuable input.
...Generally, this process takes a few months.
After the joint venture is established:
- Our Director of Grassroots Projects will keep in frequent contact with you, to ensure smooth transactions, effectual project progressions, and assist in any way possible.
- As part of EPN's monitored accountability, EPN offers internships, where interns are sent to project sites to assist and evaluate the project as a liaison.
SUBMITTING A PROJECT PROPOSAL
Ready to submit a proposal? To submit a project proposal for a joint venture with EPN, please follow the steps below:
1. Read our "PROJECTS GUIDE", which contains information you must follow in your proposal submission. (Download #1)
2. Fill out our "PROJECT PROPOSAL FORM". If you wish to type out your proposal, please download our 'Fill-in Form' (Download #2). If you wish to hand-write your proposal, please download our 'Print Version Form' and 'Additional Sheets' if needed (Downloads #3 & 4).
3. Send your proposal to us!
